From the feedback you provided us we have now developed a Draft Master Plan for Lois Twohig Reserve.
We want to know what you think of this Draft Master Plan, or if there is something we have missed.
Your feedback will help shape the final Master Plan.
About the Draft Master Plan
With Dandenong North expected to grow by 8% by 2038 our Draft Master Plan ensures the reserve remains a high-quality, multi-functional space that meets the needs of families, sports clubs, older residents and young people.
Our Draft Master Plan sets a flexible roadmap for staged improvements over time. Once finalised, it will guide upgrades that balance sport, nature, and everyday community use, making Lois Twohig Reserve a central hub for healthy, active living and social connection.
How will the project be funded and when will it happen?
The Draft Master Plan covers some major infrastructure improvements and will require significant commitment by Council over the long term.
Following the finalisation of the Master Plan, an Implementation Plan will be developed. It will provide guidance on the timing for both the design and construction to implement the Master Plan.
The Implementation Plan is subject to the availability of funding through Council’s budget processes and external opportunities.
Some of the major building works, such as the new pavilion, are currently projected to commence after 2040, as the timing aligns with the building renewal program for projects across the municipality.
