In 2024 Council asked the community to share their thoughts on what was important to them and where Council should focus its efforts for the next four years.

We heard from more than 3,300 community members through various engagements from May to July and a deliberative panel held between October and November.

The key themes identified as important were:

• Affordable housing
• Climate change
• Community safety
• Council assets
• Employment and education
• Open space and trees
• Social cohesion and connection

This feedback has been used to develop the following key documents and we would love to hear what you think:

• Proposed Council Plan 2025-29
• Proposed Annual Plan 2025-26
• Proposed Budget 2025-26
• Proposed Long Term Financial Plan 2026-35
• Proposed Revenue and Rating Plan 2025-29
• Proposed Asset Plan 2025-35

These plans are available to read in the document library to the right. To have your say on the proposed plans please complete one or all of the below surveys. This feedback will be shared with Councillors for their review and the final documents will be presented to Council on Monday 23 June for adoption.
