As part of Council’s ongoing initiatives to support community wellbeing, safety, and access to physical activity during the colder months, floodlights are in operation at Ross Reserve athletics track from 20 April through to after the winter months.

The lights operate Monday to Friday, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm, helping to extend usable hours during shorter daylight periods, improve visibility and safety, and support inclusive use of the space over winter.

We welcome feedback to better understand how the lighting initiative is being experienced and to help inform future planning at Ross Reserve and other sportsgrounds.
