We are developing a concept plan for recreation activities in the southern area of Warner Reserve in Springvale and we want our community to get involved.

Our aim is to improve the community’s access to social play and activities and to provide landscaping and facilities for the enjoyment of visitors.

We want to hear your feedback on the draft concept plan.

Tell us if we have got it right or if there is something we have missed.

About the reserve

Warner Reserve is located on Furnew Street and Virginia Street, Springvale between Springvale Road and Racecourse Drive.

This District level reserve is approximately 14.52 hectares in size and provides multi-use sports and community facilities. The reserve has two playgrounds, a dog off-leash area, BBQ and picnic facilities, a Chinlone court, volleyball court, half basketball court, fitness equipment and walking paths.

Warner Reserve is also classified as a Sports Reserve, providing facilities and spaces for club-based soccer, cricket and tennis.

Project information

This project is part of the Warner Reserve Master Plan 2019.

A priority project of the master plan is to develop a detailed concept plan for the southern recreation area (south of Mile Creek) to improve the recreation opportunities in this precinct.

This section of Warner Reserve is subject to flooding, therefore improvements to drainage will be an important consideration.
