Have your say on Bryants Road improvements
Greater Dandenong City Council has secured State Government funding through the Safe Local Roads and Streets Program to address concerns about speeding and heavy vehicle traffic between Podmore Street and Kirkham Road, improving safety for all road users.
Council has begun design work and invites feedback or questions from residents and local businesses to help shape the design. The designs are included.
What is changing?
This funding will support the delivery of targeted road safety improvements along Bryants Road, Dandenong.
The proposed works include:
- Speed cushions outside No. 30 Bryants Road
- Raised priority intersection with kerb outstands at Bryants Road/Podmore Street
- Raised platform outside No. 39 Bryants Road
These treatments are designed to reduce driver speeds, discourage industrial traffic between Podmore Street and Kirkham Road, and improve safety for all road users.
