We've drafted a concept design from your feedback for the Alex Wilkie Nature Reserve and the nearby Sense Trail at 8 Mackay Street, Springvale South.
We want to know what you think of the draft concept design to help us upgrade the Reserve and Sense Trail.
Why we are upgrading the Reserve and sense trail
The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action have awarded us a grant to help us deliver on four goals at Alex Wilkie Nature Reserve and the Sense Trail.
The goals are to:
- enhance accessibility features within the reserve for equitable access to community members, including people living with disability
- make landscape improvements to the Reserve and Sense Trail to promote biodiversity and ecosystem health
- create activities and programs to increase usage of both the Reserve and Sense Trail
- deliver construction of an ecological watering system.
This project is supported by the Victorian Government through the Better Parks and Playgrounds program and the Community Support Fund.
